Le must pour choisir ses attractions. Trip advisor pour les hotels et Viator pour les excursions = voyage réussi.

The app works fine, but the company is your typical third party mess. Be careful when reaching out to customer service or trying to make adjustments on your bookings. I tried to add a traveller, and when they were unable to, their “logic” determined that my reservation should be cancelled altogether, without my consent or confirmation. Led to an extremely disappointing morning as our cruise was no longer an option at all and our entire day was booked around that. Customer service was nice but completely unhelpful and unaccomadating.
Highly disappointed in the card payment system. The system continuously rejected my card; only PayPal works. Major inconvenience! 😡

In-app chat won’t open messages from vendors, would be better not to have the feature at all. App also allows users to enter pickup addresses which the vendors won’t accept. It should only list acceptable pickup locations, like Get Your Guide does.
Horrible. 3 day till my visit, I still don’t have my tickets. They send you vouchers, that says: “this is not your entry ticket”. Apparently some “tour operator” should send it to you cua WhatUp App. “ Make your number available “ they say. I don’t even know how to do this. I am afraid, I am not gonna get in.

I booked 4 total trips on this app and 3 out of 4 of our trips was cancelled. The companies on this app are unreliable making this app unreliable for me to book trips with.
This is a terrible site, I booked a Sagrada Familis tour for 2 and paid $153. But didn’t not get tickets, when I called them they said I had not paid for the Segada Familia tour but had paid for an afternoon interactive meal. The interactive meal tour at 4 o’clock was paid for by my companion, Harriette Clark, so I should not have been charged again. They insisted I had not paid for the sagrada Familia tour, even though my credit card said that I had paid. so I have ended up booking the tour again and paying for it again. I got no satisfaction from customer service and would not have booked with them again if I could find some other agency that was giving just the basilica tour.
They don’t honor advertised discount rates. Beware and use other apps like Get Your Guide
They book your trip. Hold your money and make interest. Then cancel 12 hours in advance. Money laundering scheme. Read actual reviews. They do this over and over again.
Got two different tickets from them and both times I didn’t get a confirmation email so I had to call customer support for the ticket. Promptly got an email after the call both times but I shouldn’t have to call a support line to get what should’ve been an automated ticket email.
Viator was a great help navigating our way through Greece and Italy last year and looking forward to their experiences in London and Paris this year
Part of our trip was cancelled by the ferry operator: as a result we were forced to pay an additional 574 EUROS in hotel fees PLUS had to on our own book additional ferry costs back to Athens (if we are forced to book on our own then why bother using Viator??). Viator then proceeded to blame its subcontracting companies and refused to help us. These guys are scam artists—please avoid them.
This app has no mechanism for adding a pre-existing booking, yet my reservation email expects me to go to Viator to get all of my updates. My wife booked a reservation through Viator, sent it to me, but there is no way I can add it to my account. There is no support mechanism for me to get an answer to this problem. The FAQ section doesn’t begin to address this. This app is more trouble than it’s worth…
A travel agent is wonderful, but on this trip, I decided to plan it myself. Finding Viator was the key for me. Now that I’ve done the tours and activities I reserved, I’m happy with my choices! Exceeded expectations. They hire such great guides. We had Ruth for the Eiffel Tour and Rose for the Palace of Versailles…and many other great ones. My confidence to plan oversees travel has increased from this experience. Thank you Viator!
Can’t go back to the booking pages. I lost all the filled in information 3 times after looking for last name information and credit card information.
Wayne, a resident of Venezia, gave us the most awesome tour you could ever wish for! A+++++++. He showed us so much and provided so much information it was an out of this world experience! He is passionate about Venice and knows so much history!!! I know that I am saying So, So, So sooooo many times but he is worth it!! Please do yourself a favor and take this tour! He will even customize your tour and when his boat gets fixed can take you in that too! JUST DO IT!! You will never know Venice like I NOW know Venice if you miss this opportunity!!

No way to contact tech support. I couldn’t check messages on app. It keep saying “oops try again”. Viator just want to make money, not help customers by hiring customer support agents. They just keep pushing it to tour guide. So bad business.

I have tried for over a week to access my bookings. Customer service sees them on their end. I have deleted the app several times to no avail. No one seems to able to help me with this problem. VERY FRUSTRATED
We’ve used Viator in both the US and Europe and have never been disappointed. They’re reliable and offer great options for sightseeing and activities. I always look to them for bookings.
They sell tours that are not confirmed and you think it is booked but really they can cancel on you.
This app is amazing. Every trip I take I book some adventure and everyone has been fabulous! Now I’m using to rediscover the city I just moved back to!

I have used Viator for tours in several countries in Europe and have had great success each time. Our guides have been exceptional. Website is easy to navigate.
Excited about this trip, but when I checked on it 2 weeks ago, it was cancelable up until the day before the event. But now it is not cancelable, which I don’t understand why.
They don’t give you the tour start time until after you pay, so you don’t know if the tour is possible for you.
Booked a tour with them and the local tour company had no record of the booking. Contacted Viator and they couldn’t care less. Blamed it on the local touring company and dismissed it. We got turned away from a confirmed booking and Viator didn’t lift a finger to make it right. They don’t care. Avoid using them and book directly with the local touring company. Horrible experience to tell your kids, just kidding, no fun today.
Cancelled my booking with a text at 3AM when my booking was for 9AM. Then rescheduled me, charged me, and we didn’t even go. Absolute SCAM and FRAUD. Give me my $500 back!!!

*1/5 stars* Frustrating login experience! Despite being a member with existing bookings, I'm unable to sign in to the app on both Android and iPhone devices. The app asks for my email address, then attempts to open my email app to verify. However, this verification process takes me in a circular loop: 1. App asks for email address 2. Tries to open email app (which doesn't work) 3. I manually open my email and click the verification link 4. Instead of opening the app, it opens in a browser 5. Browser asks me to enter my email address again... and the cycle repeats! This process is unlike any other app I've used. Until this issue is resolved, I'm unable to access my bookings or use the app.
We’ve enjoyed so our travels with Viator. Prices are reasonable and Cancellations are streamline and easy.

Bought tickets from Viator for the Chapultepec Palace - the app would not pull up the tickets requiring us to wait in line and purchase from the box office. Viator would not refund even though their app was not working. 3 stars because the app worked for tickets to the museum.
I’m very pleased with most of the excursions I’ve taken with Viator. Problems are usually the local tour operators not up to their promises.
I’ve used Viator for pre-planned outings in Costa Rica, Panama, Iceland, Norway, Faroe Islands & now Ireland. There’s been good communication & zero issues. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
